Stainless Steel Roofing on
of a Residential building
We were contacted by the owner of this Victorian house to replace the old, well walked, zinc roof on a terrace. We recommended a stainless steel replacement because of its even longer-lasting capacity , highly robust nature and it is a similar looking colour to zinc. The labour involved in supplying a stainless steel roof is the same as supplying a zinc roof and yet, with a just a little extra cost in materials, the stainless steel roof will provide a far superior, robust finish for a balcony which would be well walked.
This roof was created in the heritage batten roll style, in keeping with this early Victorian building and the balustrade was replaced after the roofing works.
