Zinc Roofing on A Hospital Plant Room
We were contacted by the builders and architects working on behalf of the hospital to create a zinc roof on this plant room.
The zinc roofing would be visible to the surrounding properties and therefore needed to be as aesthetically pleasing as possible, whilst still fulfilling its design criteria of open venting the hospital plant.
This is a shallow hip roof design, which falls in three different directions and was created in standing seam with batten roll hips.
We were asked to create it to look as pleasing as possible, as it was overlooked by residential and commercial properties.
This plant room was created on top of an original roof and thus ours was a new build design, simply to cover the plant placed there, whilst leaving a hole within it so that the extraction fans could work.
